I'm Kurinisa Turgunova

I am Khurinisa Turgunova, currently (2024) 18. I was born and raised in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan, where I spent my 18 years with my family. I came from immediate family where there are my parents, 2 younger brotherd and me. I know Russian fluently because I had studied at Public Russian School for 10 years where the curriculum was based on Russian’s school curriculum.

In 2022, I got accepted to Cambridge International College with 50% of scholarship where I spent my 11th grade. Having graduated from CIC in 2023, I started to work there as an assistant teacher to an amazing teacher Neil Woollacott, British English Teacher at CIC. Currently, I am doing intership in Malaysia, working in Hankidz as a teacher as a testimony of my passion because I had desired to become a professional teacher since I was 6-year-old girl.

Regarding my hobbies, i love knitting, reading romantic books, swimming, and watching movies about inspirational people. Please refer to “My collection of Books” to find out my favourite books.

Khurinisa has been both a proactive student and a respondible support teacher to me. As a student, she would participate in different debabes and dicussions, and would often opt to speak for the opposite side of her own views due to a desire to put herself in others' shoes to be able to view an issue from a different perspective and to gain a clearer sense of it from all angles. As a support teacher, she would manage to lead classes in a compelling way so that the classes she conducted were interesting and helpful to all. That is something that I particularly appreciated about her as she would be prepared in advance, revising topics, making materials, printing booklets and ect.

Throughout half a year of working in CIC, Khurinisa has demonstrated great management and communication skills. Her way of making considerate desicions has always impressed me. Especially when working in a team, she would set clear goals and objectives for the team. She would involve others in the decision-making process and be open to diverse perspectives, which, in my opinion, shows clear potential of hers to become a prospective kind manager in the future. What I also like about her is her positive and optimistic outlook. Even in difficult situations, she keeps motivating others to stay engaged and committed.
